Software development
Pharox has extensive experience in software development. Since the start of Pharox (1992) this has been a core activity. Our expertise is combining large relational database (Oracle) applicaties with web applications and client software. Without writing huge reports we will quickly describe and analyse the process. We will use this as the basis on which we build the architecture and the application. When the application is finished we will take this through extensive testing before the customer is asked to release the application for beta-testing. When the application is released for beta-testing a number of users will test the application. If bugs are found we will correct these immediately. After this phase is successfully finished we will release the application. During the operational life time we will maintain the application and modify or update features on a regular basis.
Consulting
Pharox is not a consultancy company. We advise our customer with crystal clear , realistic and executable solutions. Because we execute and deliver the proposed solution ourselves we will suffer if we would advise un-executable or malfunctioning solutions. In many instances we start with a quick scan whereby we analyse the network, hardware, software and configurations. We use the quick scan as the basis for our advise. The advise will include quick fixes (if necessary), procedures and regular maintenance.
Provisioning of hardware, software and network services
Pharox can advise independedly from any brand or manufacturer. We will advise the best possible solution available. We provision PC's, servers, printers, monitors, switches, routers, firewalls, tapestreamers, data storage and any other ICT accessory or peripherals. We also deliver business grade network services like VPN's, Remote Access, On-line back-up, mail servers and web mail services. We also build, host and maintain web sites.
Installation and configuration
Our experienced staff installs and configures the equipment and software as agreed. We focus on crucial elements like security, (firewalls), user management, access management, redundancy, anti spyware, anti spam and content filtering etc.
Support, maintenance and management
On fixed times our system managers will be available at your site to carry out necessary maintenance activities. It will include:

- 1st and 2nd line support
- Documentation
- Consultancy and strategic support
In case of problems you can contact us and we will remotely log in and fix the problem. If this is not possible our personnel will be dispatched and will fix the problem on site.
